Who Taught in 2024
Marysia & Julian
Marysia is an aerialist and instructor of aerial acrobatics, while Julian is a circus artist with wheel acrobatics and juggling experience. Together they create acts combining icarian games, acroyoga washing machines, and partner acrobatics — winners of Poland's Got Talent (2019) and finalists in international circus and talent competitions since.
Ammanda & Paulo
Ammanda was born in Denmark, lived 9 years in London, and began her Acroyoga journey there 11 years ago — with a love for funky warm-up moves, icarian logs, foot juggling, and no-hands flows. Paulo, originally from Portugal, spent 7 years in the army before discovering Acroyoga in Brussels and completing his teacher training in Bali in 2020.
Laura & Caspian
Caspian and Laura are acro teachers who strive to be skilled in all areas of acro. They enjoy teaching students of all levels, and enjoy the different challenges and disciplines that acroyoga has to offer. They are skilled in Icarians, Hand to Hands, Whips, Standing Acrobatics, Flows, Washing Machines, Therapeutics and more, with a current focus on more dynamic icarian and standing skills. Caspian is great at analysing and understanding technical details, and Laura's embodiment and implementation of refinements, as well as her excited celebrations, complement their partnership. Their classes are technical, focused on detailed cues, smart progressions, personal coaching, and safety as a high priority — both have a background in martial arts, contributing to their interest in safe exit strategies, falling, and rolling. Bali is their home base, where they run the AcroSpirit community and organise the AcroSpirit festival, retreats and other acro training events. They also teach internationally and have taught at many acro festivals across Europe and Asia.
